Where: Sharkhead Isle
Levels: 25-30
Min. players: 4

Anyone want to tackle this on Friday? We'd get double XP and possibly end the SF at level 80!

Anyhoo, if we do the respec trial beforehand, most of us should be getting close to the cap for this SF, so sooner than later, I sez.

Hey, here's a strike force that doesn't have any vines in it. Yay!

When did we want to wrap this up? It should only be another mission or two.

I'd be in for tonight (Saturday).

I may noodle around a bit in-game through the day with alts in the meanwhile.

I'll be around tonight. And it's Christy's turn to get up with Ethan tomorrow, so I can stay up later ;).

It wasn't easy and it wasn't pretty but we kicked not one, not two, but three archvillains in the butt, although one of the butts was actually a giant eyeball.

I have to admit, despite some setbacks, I really enjoyed the SF and I'm glad we stuck together and finished it. Four different ATs and we all brought different strengths to the fight. I like that. :)

The highlight of the SF was probably the fight against the Eye of the Leviathan in the final room. I carefully ported people to the ledge next to the giant eye, timing it to avoid the water spouts that would come by. A few times my teleport-fu failed and I particularly remember Foxy arriving just in time to get tossed away. Fortunately, she survived. Not only that, Fitty managed to get all of his henchmen to fight by actually getting them inside the eyeball itself.

When I started the SF, Carl was 27 and close to 28. I dinged 30 just before it wrapped up, as did Fitty. Q and Postal got to 30 shortly after. Over 800,000 inf and five +3 SO enhancements for me, too. Not bad!

Next up: Aura mission for groovy flaming eyes and such.

And here's the Eye of the Leviathan. It apparently connects directly to the brain somewhere because the eyeball shoots very mean psychic attacks. The swirling thingies are the water spouts that like to toss you around and let the eye indulge in that very mean attack it enjoys. The eyeball is in the middle of a very large cave. In this shot, it's not as close as it looks, hence why Carl is actually still alive.
