Already been denied by CuppaJo (forum admin). Most people are guessing next week at the earliest.

IGN edited the article. They now say next wednesday.

Another patch went to the test server last night. It looks like that's probably the final one before Issue 5 goes live. They've apparently fixed the long load times, which was probably the biggest remaining issue. There's a free respecs for any character on Test and it kind of sounds like free respecs are going to the live servers today, as well, before the issue comes out.

If I5 goes live, next week could be very interesting, in that ancient Chinese proverb kind of way.

And to answer Pal's question from IRC (since I was out [not actually] eating curry at the time), yes, I have tried out Issue 5 on the test server, including running the Rikti respec trial (about two hours) with Angry Carrot and six others. Most of the characters I play do not have much in the way of defenses to begin with, so the changes have not impacted me much. It's pretty much a wash, although playing at Rugged (my usual setting) may have to change to a step lower, as minions are effectively more dangerous now.

People running tankers, controllers and to a lesser extent scrappers will see the most change. Defenders, blasters and Kheldians were left largely alone.
