City of Villains for $20 CAN (!)

Up here in the frozen north Future Shop is selling City of Villains (both regular and collector's) for $19.99. This is what they call a "good deal". If anyone is at all interested, I'd recommend checking it out. If you have CoH now, CoV will unlock two features hero-side:

- supergroup bases
- come Issue 7, all costumes from CoV will be available to people who own both games (this greatly expands the existing options and it's not all darkity dark skulls and chains stuff)

The price also includes one free month, so the game itself is essentially free.

I'd be willing to pick up a box for someone and send them the code if reimbursed for it.

oops, forgot one other perk from owning CoV:

- 12 character slots per server instead of 8. Any mix of heroes/villains.

My interest is piqued, but I don't know if I'd play enough to warrant a purchase. I like having the ability to hop on CoH right now, but I don't think I'd keep an account open for it.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. CoV and CoH share a single monthly fee, so the only extra cost is the CoV box.

I wish I knew about this a week ago. I'd have bought CoV and played both for a month for $5 more than plaing a month of CoH would have cost.
