We will be performing hardware upgrades to our authentication system tomorrow, May 23, starting at 1:00 AM PDT and lasting until the end of our regularly scheduled maintenance at 11:00 AM. Players may experience problems when trying to log in to the game before the realms come down for maintenance. Account management, new account creation, and parental control features will be unavailable during this time. Additionally, the in-game petition system and the GM staff will not be available to take player petitions from 1:00 AM PDT to 11:00 AM PDT.
During this time, we will be migrating the existing data from our current authentication platform over to the new hardware. Please keep in mind that this is a new system, and there may be minor issues with our authentication system when the realms go live 11:00 AM
No WoW for you!

Heh. Yes, I got a cat mount and everything (thanks for the extra gold, Foe - I'll get that back to you as soon as I can).
Probably going to start a priest later this week so I don't get completely beyond Melissa...I'd never hear the end of it if I did that.

You burned up every ounce of your luck when you collected the entire beaststalker set TWICE while the rest of us waited for a single piece of a set other than shaman to drop.
Started the priest, went human...I hadn't done the starting area for humans yet, so was curious to see it. I'll probably make a dwarven warrior at some point, tho.
Up to level 6, time to go to the Pearl Jam concert, tho. Remind me to get someone to invite Kerrek tonight or tomorrow.

You're probably right. But I still haven't even seen my other pieces drop, let alone be able to roll on them. I still need the Chest Shoulders and Leggings.
I can't complain - Black Dragonscale Armor looks cooler anyway.

I DO have the AV xbow.
But I'm a prissy night elf hunter, and I don't like the way guns or xbows look.
Don't worry about the chest duder. Until we get a serious resurgence in player attendance I don't think we'll be doing the Tier .5 upgrade quests. We still haven't made a serious 45min Baron attempt yet.
I'm using a Hurricane right now. The aimed shots and multishots are rockin, and it tears through casters like nothing, but it sucks against anyone with decent armor. Rogues don't count, because they're dumb. Most of them, anyway.

No no no. Do it the other way around! :bawl: Believe me, you'll always regret not having rolled dwarf priest once you realize all the love they're getting. And for good reason.

Made a dwarven warrior too....what's so special about dwarven priests, tho?
Dwarf priests get Fear Ward, arguably one of the best racial traits in the game. It's nice, but by no means required.

Herrek is now a dwarf, not a human (racial reassignment surgery...it's crazy what those gnomes can do these days). He's up to lvl 9 and in the guild, but for some reason has a rank of "Quiet Time" which means he can't use /g chat (can see it, just can't say anything). No idea why. Budly tried to help me out but couldn't promote me.

Tick, I think you made the right choice. Your char is probably really ugly now, but that's supposed to be normal after a major reassignment surgery. As Q said, it's not REQUIRED to have Fear Ward as a priest, but it is really really neat to have (even just for yourself; and if you ever decide to raid, you will be the coddled pet). I wished somebody had advised me to roll dwarf when I started my priest, because at this point the required race reassignment is prohibitively expensive despite all gnomish technology advances. So I am going to stay a useless human. :(
