Coming for PC... Shadowrun (http://pc.ign.com/articles/706/706620p1.html)

Edit... I should say...coming soon for Windows Vista.

Other Windows Vista games announced today:

Alan Wake
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures
Company of Heroes
Crysis
Flight Simulator X
Halo 2
Hellgate: London
Shadowrun

I was planning my next full PC upgrade to conincide with Vista's release, so I'm not too upset by seeing Hellgate: London on the list. However, if it is in fact a game that requires DirectX 10 (and thus Vista), it will cinch the upgrade for me.

Yea I'm going to be saving up some side cash over the coming months to be able to snag a Wii and upgrade my PC to coincide with the Vista launch. When Vista hits, I'll probably go all-out and set myself up to run games for another 3 years or so.

That is what I was planning on doing, Patton. I figure I'll go balls-out to make sure all I really need to touch would maybe be the video card.

I know Crysis will also run on XP. Not sure how many of the other games will.

I don't think it will behoove developers to not include some sort of DirectX 9 Low-end version of the game. I wont be ready to jump into Vista until it's been out a while anyhow.

Plus my machine is still newish.

Not surprisingly, Halo 2 will be one of those Vista-only DX 10.0 games. Whether a game that is over two years old is a good showcase for Vista is open to debate.

Unless it looks phenomenally better than the X-Box version, I have no interest in it.

I've played with the Vista betas a bit already, and I dig the OS and the changes they made. If it is as quick and stable as XP with the new enchancements, then I'll be pleased.

I can only hope they carry some of those enhancements over to their server software. I'm tired of needing a fucking floppy drive to install SCSI or RAID drivers.
