I've been trying to find (well, I spent about 4 minutes trying) the drum track from Rush's Tom Sawyer. I want just the drum track by itself. Any of youz guyz think you can track that down for me?

You think Metallica would mind if I downloaded just a single track of a song instead of the whole song? Or would Lars equate that to unwrapping a candy bar whilst still in the store and just stealing the wrapper? And how many licks do you think it would take to get to the center?

I know Neil Peart has released some videos or DVDs of himself giving drumming toutorials. The whole drum part to Tom Sawyer may be on there.

Yes, Neil Peart is the man you're looking for. He has a number of books and videos, but I am unable to tell if any have the track you are looking for. :(

I was able to talk to my buisness partner "Ski" (I am but his humble patawan learner as far as Rush goes) and he said the drumming tutorial video was from Test for Echo and that Tom Sawyer was not on it. Sorry. That's all I've got.
