I'm sorry to say that Devon passed away today around 12:40 this afternoon. Lisa and I are crushed and I feel like our little family has just been torn away from us. I know very few of you ever had the chance to meet devon, but I'm sure you will all hold a place in your hearts for him... I know how special he was to lisa and myself.

That's very sad news Arm. I know we've been giving you a hard time lately because of your Guild Wars zeal, but we really do care. Our thoughts are with the two of you.

Arm, I'm very sorry to hear that Devon has passed away. In spite of my not (usually) caring for any sort of pet, other than a cat, Devon was special. I remember my first time holding him with him trying to decide if I was worth a bite, or just an investigative nibble. I'll hold memories of sitting on the bed playing with him as we talked, or demonstrated new software with him occasionally squeaking (I think it sounding like mini-squeeks) and scurrying about.

as long time friend of both Jared (arm) and Lisa, I had the prviledge of knowing Devon. though he always seemed to confuse me for someone else, he was loyal and loving friend to both of them. Devon brought them joy, and to lose something like that in your life, so suddendly-- it has to be be hard.
My deepest condolences to my friends/ The next time I am out drinking somewhere, I will make a quiet toast to the little fellow. Devon, you lived well (better than most human I might add), you sniffed things and you pooped a fair game, but you always loved your masters... and they loved you back.
