I'm not setting a time because I don't know when everyone will be on exactly, but I am going to plan on running it tonight.
That said, I need to do some prep work so that I don't have to go back more than once for quests. As with any instance, I'll gladly go back to help others out after the fact, but I'd like to get the quests done ASAP.
Some of these quests require alot of prep work. The quest line that starts in Stormwind seems like it'll be easy to solo through, it'll just take some time.
The other quest line involving the Ancient Egg requires some group work in The Hinterlands. I also need to finish the Sharpbeak quest stuff up in that Temple.
So I'll be logging on tonight after I get home from work. This should be at around 6:30PM. If anyone would care to join me for this stuff, post here and we'll get it done before we run ST.

Heather needs it with her druid, and I am always able to help with a 60. My warrior is a bit low, so I shant force him on you all.

I need the prophet quest, but I won't be on tonight until later on, due to being on the left coast.

I have four quests for ST right now. Not sure what other ones I can acquire. I should be on tonight for it.

What's the prophet quest?
Patton

Oh, I found it.

We can pick this quest up when we go for the Ancient Egg / Sharpbeak stuff, Spotter.

I have one quest there now and if the others require a lot of stuff to get, I don't think I'd be able to get them all and do the instance tonight. I'll be home around 7pm central, though.

Lets try to get everyone up to all the quests tonight, then. Get as far as we can with those and play the rest by ear.

Here's a link for the quests thottbot says are in ST...
http://www.thottbot.com/?f=q&title=&obj=&desc=&minl=&maxl=&minol=&maxol=&empire=A&cat=Sunken+Temple
The four I have are...
Into the Depths
Secret of the Circle
Haze of Evil
Voodoo Feathers (warrior)
I just have to finish up The Ancient Egg to get The God Hakkar quest. And I should be able to pick up at least one more before tonight. I'm sure we'll have to run through it a few times and like Patton I'll be happy to go through it again even if I'm done.

I think I have the egg quest and maybe one other. But I'd like to clear out some other stuff first to avoid the usual "drop four quests to take four dungeon quests then sit on the dungeon quests until they are green" thing that usually happens.
Which is to say tonight seems unlikely.
Also, please include timezones in posts. :)

Server time++ :D

I live in the Pacific timezone, not the Arthas timezone.
I also face shorter queues in real life.
The queue was at 580 at 9.30ish pm (Eastern) last night.

and at 830 Pacific it was zero:thumbup:
Ned, all times are always in server time which is east coast. I've seen you ask for time zones before - You can always assume east coast (server-time) unless otherwise noted. They have to live on the east coast, the least we can do is concede the time zone:wavey:

Kegor still needs to finish ST. I need the end boss and one of the dragons. Let me know.
On a side note I have finished the egg part but I guess I have never freeded sharpbeak which is at the same spot. If people need to do that then we can finish those missions off.

What level is required for ST?
Do I have a chance with my 40 and his mount and shiny new armor?
I will be on tonight sometime after 9:00 ST.
(Also, thanks to those who offered to do some questing with me last night. I hadn't spent 5 minutes with my wife all weekend though. Tonight is as close to a lock as I get. I will be there.)
ST is 50-55. I think 40 would be a bit of an aggro fest =/

Wow... you're not kidding.
Give me a few weeks. Then I will come begging for a highbie escort.
I had the prohpet quest left, but dropped it to work on the Ony tuning. I'll see if I can remember how to pick it up again. Supa healer!!

The quest starts in the Hinterlands, at the exile NPC in Shadra'Alor. He is standing to the left of the Aztec lookin temple, if you're facing it.

Ned and I tried doing the Giant Egg quest last night in that big Troll city in the Hinterlands. We fought mostly 47-50 elites on the way to the cave at the amphitheater, but were killed by some silly 51 elite Troll lady who kept turning me into a frog. We're going to need some help.

Yeah, that one needs a 5 man.
I soloed it once all the way to the top and then got my ass handed to me. The entire time was made more exciting by the Horde that kept trading deaths with me.
I finally had to call for help =P

Well, to be honest, we had very little trouble up until that point. It's fairly easy to sneak through to the top without having to fight more than one troll at a time. We would've easilly beaten the 51 elite had she not kept frogging me.

I'll be up in that area tonight if you guys want a hand.
Alternatively, you could pick up the Sharpbeak questline and we could do a quickee ZF run. I think we've got a few people who still need Ghazrilla (my bro included) and a bunch of us picked up the mallet last night. So that's an option.

I screwed up and didn't finish two of the quests last night. One can be easily finished with just a few people. The other requires pretty much a full run (even after we ran back I still didn't finish the egg quest, stupid me). The warrior one I'd like to finish, but the egg one might not be worth it to do a whole 'nother run just for that.

So Ned and I still need to finish the Egg quest in the Hinterlands. We went to the Swamp the other day to get done that one quest that didn't appear to be in the instance. We killed trolls in the temple area before the actual instance, but the altar it talked about was nowhere to be found. Looking on Thotbott, it's apparently in the actual instance, despite not being labeled "elite" or "dungeon" in the quest log.
Anyone up for getting this stuff done tonight?

Very excellent, indeed.
We now have the ancient egg quest done and the ancient egg omelette reward was delicious.
However, I'm undecided on bringing Pretzel on tonight (Friday), since he has used up most of his rest XP. If I miss out on any ST action as a result (though it seems unlikely), so be it.

Thanks, Log, but I don't think there's enough interest here. People have done ST three times that I know of since this thread was posted and none were announced. I'm apparently just never in the right place at the right time. Sorry to be a little bitch, but it's pretty irritating since I'm pretty certain we didn't have 15 different people who needed to get it done.
I'd love to do it when any of you get a chance, but otherwise I'm just not going to worry about it anymore. I should've joined WoW when you guys first did.
Patton
03-06-2006, 11:12 AM
I'm still willing to go, guys. Just say when.
I was thinking that maybe we should have a stickied thread titled "Instance run requests."
That way someone can request a run, people can join up for it, and a time and date can be set. That way, we'll have one thread where you can see what is going on when and join up for it. Obviously alot of runs are done on the fly, but if we have a scheduled run, I don't think someone is going to start up a huge ass raid on the same day.

You should have mentioned ST the other night when we were questing. I told you guys earlier in the thread that I would tag along and the offer still stands.

Well, it was pretty late the other night. I'm accustomed to most of you going to bed before me on the weekends, so I didn't bring it up. But if you guys are willing, I'd love to get it done this week. Slappyjoe is, unbelievably, almost 55.

Just suggest a time and a party to go, Circuit. We'll help you get it done. Yes, admittedly, I'm a little tired of it, but the point of this for me is to hang with you guys and have fun, not just get loot. At least, I think that is how it ought to work.
I could stand to farm for some leather anyway.
Today is no good because of BRD, and Thursday is Archon raiding night, which I would like to attend. Other than that, I'm open.

Yay! :jump:
I am working on getting the both of us some Argent Belts... just have not seen any reasonably priced Righteous Orbs lately... Maybe we can get some of those when you are ready for HU Strat. We should both go there anyway to get the Quest for that nice chest piece completed.
As far as ST goes... just say when. I guess, I am not helping you and Ned much lately because you have the two classes that I can provide amply covered between the two of you. But I can always step in and do the healing if Ned wants to do the catty thing. Only restriction is... I am not sure I know my way around too well inside the temple, and I am hopeless when it comes to figuring out in what order to click the stones to summon that boss dude in the water. :o
Patton
03-06-2006, 12:57 PM
I don't know the order either, but we can just clear that floor and have someone at each point, and click it till it works. The poison isn't too strong if we flub it.
Or we could just check thottbot. :) Beyond that point, I've got a decent idea of what we need to do, and the Avatar of Hakkar is easy enough to remember.

If you go down to the bottom stone first and click it then it will show you the order to click the stones in.

The order is also resident in the Atlas map. If you do not have Atlas, I highly recommend it.

I will also help if I'm not taking up a needed spot.
I need to get the Prophet's Head in there, but don't wait for me if you have a group ready to go, due to my sparse playing habits :)
