Also, having to gather turtle scale is a good reason to boycott the game forever.

Well, theoretically, golden pearls would be dropped by the clams that the turtles dropped. I killed 112 of the things in Azhara and no golden pearls!! Flintlocke is correct when he says that you start to enjoy it. By the 40th or so I really just wanted to kill every single one in sight. I also got better at it - I killed 50 in the first hour, and 62 in the second. :thumbup:

It took 3 of us to religiously assault the naga cave off of feathermoon to get one of these to drop so Q could make an archanite rod.

I've heard that the golden ones are more likely to drop off those nagas' clams too, but at the time they were zero xp for me. I didn't mind doing the Azhara ones so much, since they garnered me a cool 67,200 xp :)
