Gamespy (http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/city-of-heroes/640457p1.html) has posted a one page preview and 17 screenshots of Issue 5: Isle of Dread. The biggest news for heroes...
Bow & arrow based power sets. Looks like probably blasters, controllers, and defenders will each get a set.
Also new, some sonic power sets.
Finally, a new zone, mission tweaks to old missions, and more random zone events including rampaging trolls and arsonist Hellions. Sounds interesting. I may have to renew when it comes out.

For those still actively playing and checking out the new stuff on the test servers what is your finaly verdict on all the class changes that are coming out.
Is it still as bad as the naysayers are reporting? Is my Claws Regen scrapper gonna be total hosed? Is my SS/INV tank gonna be worthless?
Inquiring minds want to know!

I don't have a scrapper or tanker that I currently play but I've spent a number of hours on the Test server with others, even running the Rikti respec trial with a group of level 50's and the cries of "Doom!" are exaggerated. Some people may need to adjust the difficulty down a bit, others will not be able to handle giant mobs with impunity (no more checking your e-mail in the middle of a fight :P) but overall, the changes haven't fundamentally hurt the game from what I've seen, they've just restored a bit of the challenge. XP and influence have been boosted, as well.
I'm still not keen on some of the changes (the ones to stealth powers border on the absurd) but there will be more tweaking before Issue 5 goes live.
Are people more stealthy now, or less?

{GM rolls dice}
GM: You THINK you're stealthy...

Some would say Stealthy is a state of mind....
Now take DU for an example, he is as stealthy as a glowing green and pink cloud of radiation can be. Now if he were to stand in a the middle of a nuclear plant disaster he would be quite stealthy on the other hand standing out in the middle of a field, well anyone would be able to see him. :wavey:

The full breakdown on how stealth powers now work can be found here (http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Dev&Number=3421649&bodyprev=#Post3421649).
Essentially, they've made it easier to be seen, to generate aggro and reduced the defense that stealth powers provide (the latter has a few exceptions, such as Steamy mist).

I did relatively well on the reactor respec quest - only about 40k debt I think. I might make an effort to get my client up to date some time this weekend, it'll take me a bit to remember how to best use my powers.
I do remember that I have both of the regeneration auras, with at least one slotted so as to almost always be available.... party members seemed to enjoy it alot.
Oho, I just got my CoV preorder email...
