Hello.

I am looking for input on two things, the first being talent choices for a druid and the second being where to go with skinning and leatherworking.

On talents, I've got a bunch of points I haven't spent yet (Pretzel is 19 now) but I've dumped a few into improving Mark of the Wild, as I've heard it's one of the better buffs in the game. Any other suggestions on where to spend points are welcome.

Secondly, I've been improving my skinning and leatherworking but up to this point, I've been using my raw materials to make the "toughest" items in order to improve my skill (and perhaps make them Mad). I sell the resulting items back to the merchant for a small profit. My question here is should I be working toward selling a certain type of material/item in the AH or focus primarily on making things I can use myself?

Leatherworking is a tough sell at the lower levels, but the biggest sellers are usually the Armor kits.

As for talents, it depends on your playstyle. I recommend either Feral or Balance at least through level 40, as it will help with damage output without really hurting your healing ability.

Once you get your leatherworking up sufficiently, the dark leather pants, dark leather belt, dark leather tunic and dark leather shoulders sell very well. Don't bother with the dark leather boots, gloves or cloak as those don't have any stat bonuses.

The stat bonus dark leather stuff usually sells fairly well on the AH as a it's some of the best 20-30 hunter and rogue gear in the game as far as agility bonuses go. I'm doing leatherworking with my druid as well and looking forward to seeing how that goes.

Not knowing too much about the druid profession per se but things i have read is that Feral is the way to go if your going to PvP. So far I have gone a mix of balance and feral.

Any of you profesional druids out there, give us some yummy pop tart worthy input!

Balance is great later in game when you can get +spell damage gear. Before that, though, you suffer from mana inefficiency.

Pogo, do you have any input on the top tier talents in balance and feral, i.e. moonkin form and whatever the other one is called? Being used to playing a healer, I moved most of my points into the restoration tree as I was familiar with the benfit of these talents. But I agree now that that was not a smart choice and that I will have to respec. I am not a all PvPer, as you know, but I would sure like some good damage output just so that I can defend myself when jumped in STV, and also to get mobs down faster. What playing strategies are the top tier talents in balance and feral most commensurate with?
