You can grab the 35.6 meg file here (http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=8089).

Changes in v1.8.4:
-----------------

Battlegrounds

- Battles must now last at least ten minutes after the start of the battle in order for the losing team to receive a Mark of Honor.

World

- New quests for the Feast of Winter Veil have been added! See your Smokywood Pastures customer service representative in Ironforge and Orgrimmar for more details!
- The level of many of last year's Feast of Winter Veil quests have been adjusted so that reputation rewards are available in their full amount for players of all levels able to do them.
- Fixed a bug with both versions of the quest "A Smokywood Pastures' Thank You!" that was sending mail out immediately rather than on the intended delay.
- In a startling discovery, Mistletoe sold on last year's vendors is now named "Fake Mistletoe". A Smokywood Pastures spokesman was quoted as saying, "Sorry, no refunds."
- Some of the Southsea Dock Workers that were working under the boat should now be much more accessible to players.
- Andre Firebeard no longer has a chance of dropping a Wastewander Water Pouch.
- All OOX Distress Beacons are now multi-drop; everyone in a group should be able to receive one if it drops.
- Fixed a bug with Oglethorpe Obnoticus' gossip where he was being much more familiar with strangers than he should have been.

General

- Various preparations added to the client for Patch 1.9.

Sorry, Fitty found it to be corrupt so I'm re-uploading it now. You probably hit the link before it finished. Sorry, man. I'd recommend grabbing Fitty's for now.

I just tried installing yours JR. Fresh download about 2 minutes ago, and it crashed out when executed. Trying Fitty's now...

Update...

Fitty's patch worked. Jr's is still borked.

From the "They take control of your computer file", the patch installer will change your desktop icon to point to "Launcher.exe" instead of "wow.exe". I can see this becoming an ongoing issue with the patches from now on, as Blizzard is really pushing using the Launcher tool. You can manually change it back.

I patched (using the patch file that i downloaded at work and installed at work and which ran at work), and now when I login, I get kicked off right after it gives me the handshaking success message.

I'm going to bed :(

Have you tried deleting your WDB folder? Worth a shot.

After the patch, performance was horrible for me in IF (nomally it's a bit laggy at times but otherwise fine). I kept getting disconnected, finally had to leave the area. Everywhere else was good.

JR sucks at patching stuff

Ah. That explains why his stint as a pirate was so short.

That's like a ban, right? Let's see what the judges say...

I don't know what you've heard but my stint is average-sized.

Anyone who says different is lying.

My FTP upload of the patch was interrupted by a request. I guess it was a bad idea to leave a link to a file as it was being uploaded. :(

I suck.
