How do I wipe out my old GUI stuff? I'm getting a lot of errors.

Delete the folder called Addins under Interface, and the folder called WDB. Leave the folder called WTF.

we should probably ask Pogo before Bri deletes anything important. I'd thought it was WTF, tho.

The WTF folder contains your account information. Erasing it means when you start to login it will say you have no characters (although I think it recreates that if you login). The WDB folder contains the cache db's and often cause conflicts if you remove the Addins but leave the cache.

Thus have been my experiences anyway :)

If you want to do everything but reinstall, perform the following:

-delete the interface, wdb and wtf files.

This will cause the game to recreate all three, and most importantly, the hidden caches and savedvariables.lua files that are likely your source of headaches.

Bear in mind it will completely reset your options, keybindings, etc and, as Tai mentioned, prompt you to select your realm as if you had never logged in.

Just select Arthas and go to town.

Yeah, both still play. Log isn't on as much and Inka uses a different Ventrilo server, so unless you have her characters on your friends list, you may miss her when she comes online.

All I want is to actually KILL something in MC and not just see it. ;) My friend, we will talk again about this when you have collected your blue class set and don't ever want to go to UBRS and Scholo again. But actually, I was on vacation when you decided to return, Bri. That's why you have not seen me online. Now that I am back, am likely to fall back into old habits and play pretty much every night until the wee hours. However, I also admit to being unfaithful to the Martians lately and hanging out with some non-Martians leveling up my warlock, who is not in our guild. So you can't always see that I am online. I will remedy this and get my lock into the guild tonight. I also vow to come on vent again. (Sorry, did not realize how many of you were back on... and even Circuit and Ned playing now!) Just in case I have more unguilded chars out there, here is the complete list:

(Don't know if you mean you actually deleted them; but in case you did, you can easily get them back. I have some not-so-smart friend who fell prey to excessive pally-hatred and deleted his poor char twice. He got him back both times just by sending a message to a GM. What he did not get back, of course, was his complete lightforge gearset, which he sold to endow his new alt with a small fortune. The stuff some people do... :eek: )

Yeah, bring him back some time. With Keith gone and Loggy rarely playing, we are actually rather short on rogues these days. (Who would have thought???) Looks like we have a million warriors about instead - lots of challenging shouts but little DPS behind them. :bg:

Hey wtf is a Scourge? I keep seeing this class being mentioned by thottbot.

I am not a Warcraft history buff like Q or Pogo, but weren't Arthas and his buddies turned into some undead scourge folks by the lich king? Eastern and Western Plaguelands are full of scourge dudes. Skeletons and really messed up looking elves. Just bring on Bridude and go there for a while. You couldn't possibly avoid running into scourge there.
