I propose this Thursday night henceforth be known as "Wack a Martian Zombie Night", to be celebrated by playing 4 on 4 VS Mode Left4Dead. Meet online at 9pm eastern and lets feast on each others brains.
Who's in?
I hate playing as a zombie but I would show in an effort to save my martian human friends.

I will try to be there, as long as the kids fall asleep by then.

I can probably be there.

Thursday's one of my late work nights, but I'll try to join up if you're still playing when I get home.

I haven't played Vs. mode and would be more inclined to play the other "movies" first or whatever the heck they call them. I can also set up a dedicated server if need be, though I'd probably need more time to tweak it. Thursday is clear for me so far.

Versus mode definitely takes some getting used to. Sometimes, people get frustrated when they're playing as the infected and are playing against a really-organized team of survivors. But it's still a lot of fun.

Another way to frame this is to say I've really only played a handful of times and only on the first level, No Mercy, so I am a n00b.

I'm in as long as it is on the XBox 360 :)

i just saw Left 4 Dead come this close || to winning the Developers Choice Game of the Year award. I was really rooting for it, but i'll concede that Fallout3 does have a wider appeal.

both games are awesome
I'd be happy to play. If you see me on, shoot me an invite.
How do you guys feel about the changes to melee made last night?

I'm running a few minutes late. I'll have Left4Dead running in a few.
Tai, I haven't seen the changes yet.

Yeah, sorry I didn't make it. I vow to do so next time!
I did get the ded. server re-installed under Windows 7, though.
And it didn't flake out? Amazing!

I ended up playing with a bunch of people, but I had no idea who they were since people tend to change their Steam names a lot.
I didn't see anyone else show up when I joined at around 9:00 EST.

Sorry, by the time I got him and checked Steam, nobody was online except for some dudes playing TF2.

I didn't do my taxes yesterday, unlike most of you. However, I just plain forgot!

I mailed my yesterday. Bad news is I had to pay in this year. Good news is, I still have a job and I made enough money to have to pay in.
Could be worse.
Once Ned is in power, I want a law that says that you have to get paid in cash once a week at your place of employment. Then you have to stand in line with your fresh crispy greenbacks and loonies (yes, I know loonies are coins and therefor never truly "crispy") to hand the cash back to a designated government employee tax collector. I bet people would be surprised how much you actually pay.
I had a huge wrench thrown into my plans. I am now trying to figure out how to make sure the IRS does not come to take me away ho ho hee hee.

loonies are not only crispy, but they also stay that way in milk!

I admit my guilt here.

The Survival Pack patch is out, adding versus mode to the remaining 2 campaigns and a new survival mode which pits 4 players against horde after horde of zombies and specials in a time-trial mode to see how long you can last. I, for one, am anxious to try Dead Air in versus mode. So, who's up for some zombie fun Thursday night about 9pm-ish eastern time?

I still only have the 360 version but we played the survival last night. We got our butts kicked. The best we could do was bronze. More then once we had 3 hunters attacking us at once.
