The wife and I got started on the barn raising project this weekend. My arms are sore from pounding in the ground posts. owie.

We got the metal frame erected, although all bolts need to be tightened now. Next up are some side purlins and all the canvas roofing and sides and a bunch of ratcheting.

Got to get this done before the sheep start popping out the lambs next month!!

That looks a lot like the frame that collapsed on the Fairlane here. Here's hoping the future lambs will not be in peril!

It is in fact very similar, except this is the stronger version with uber pipes and 4 foot rafters. So I've been told anyway.

I prefer the wooden one the Amish built for us, but that one was also about 3 times more money...
