I like this game, too.
I alsow just played the single player demo for Dungeon Siege 2. Its controls are as clunky and non-intuitive as ever, the close in graphics are not as polished as we've seen in many other games, and the gameplay is very linear.
Having said that, I still had so much fun I wish the demo didn't end. I plan on picking this up, clunky interface and all. Until Diablo 3 comes out, stuff like this is my only fix. I really enjoyed it. ;)

Hm, so at least 3 of us like WoW. Or should I say, still like Wow? I seem to be observing some WoW fatigue spreading among us martians. Given the time difference between Europe and here, I can only say that very few of you were online before 9:00 EST (after that even I had to go to bed); so I don't know if any of you joined after that. But really, the only ones I have seen around while I was in that uncivilized part of the world that still considers itself superior to all others were BoX, the pogos, and Q. Didn't even catch any of you playing at work... I mean during lunch break, of course.
So what's going on? Do we all need a collective break? Or should we all switch to Bloodscalp for a while to experience the wonderful world of warcraft from a new perspective? (I really had no clue about all this stuff sitting on top of the mountains in 1000 Needles, and I had never been to Blackfathom Deeps before I did with the hordies.) Or do we need to organize our online lives better? It seems that nobody is playing on Thursdays, and Fridays are rather slow too. Maybe we should just skip these days and agree on one or two others where we commit to all come online and do some instances. I am still a few set pieces short, and I am really tired of pickup groups. Aside from that, I'd really feel sorry for Mrs. Pogo working her way up to 60 only to find that there is nobody to get wiped with in scholo etc.

I have been logging in a lot less to WoW. Part of it is a lot going on at home and some of it is being bored with the game. I'll still be around for a while just won't log on every day.

I hardly play WoW at all anymore! :o
I'm probably going to suspend my account, I have only logged in once since BF2 came out. And I want to try some CoH/CoV soon.

I still play often. I'm just now getting into the mass PvP that goes on around the realms. If you are on, look me up!

I understand the boredom factor although I feel little affected by it myself. For me, the greatest fun killer is having none of you guys around. So I'd rather play fewer days per week (which would be a good thing anyway so that I can catch up with my growing sleep deficit) but have a decent group of us online on those days we decide to play. Another benefit of limiting the online fun to a few days per week is that such an arrangement is more family friendly. What y'all think?
P.S.: Postal, Paladin - what about doing the horde instances some time this weekend? Loggy and I are high enough level to do ragefire chasm and wailing caverns with you. If need be, we could probably get Littlebit, Essarhaddon, or Anath to help out.

My subscription runs out in a few more days, and I'm still debating whether to renew or not. I know my wife wants me to let it expire, and being as she is endlessly tolerant of my gaming (habit) hobby, I'd like to do right by her and spend less time playing WoW. At the same time, she's usually gone 3 or more evenings a week, and I'd just sit at home playing games anyhow. With no WoW, it would just be some other game.
I won't put words in anyone else's mouths, but it's been spoken of in hushed tones that a few nights of dedicated gaming might provide more reliable attendance. I know I much prefer more people on to play or instance than the PUGs I've been in recently when I was the only one on, or missing out on gear that I could use when I can't play every night.
For me, Wednesday and Thursday are ideal, with a typical Tuesday, and an occasional Friday night. If I had a few dedicated nights, I could appease my lovely Legal Department by only playing those nights and not staying up till 4am on the other nights.
I'll open a new topic about it, but I'd rather play certain nights than quit outright. I think I need occasional time away to appreciate the game like I used to.
