Exercise #7:

Write a story based on the title "The Downside". Deadline is Monday, January 19th.

We have at least one story incoming from Quarter to Three and hopefully others. If you notice any new users here on the forum, do not be alarmed, they are almost certainly legit and not dirty Russian spammers.

I'll have something for Monday, but right now I'm staring at a blank white doc with a blinking cursor, the only words on the page are the title.

I wish we could have each picked a different title from a long list. I don't like the idea that the stories will all have the same title.

I told my wife I was writing reviews on some short stories, and she told me I should try writing some. I have tried in the past, but inevitably, I've started stories and never finished them. The last finished short stories I did were in a fiction writing class in 1993 my senior year of college. Anyway, I've you'll have me, I'd like to be included when you do the topic announcements and I will do my best to deliver a story for each.
