So the kids *cough* got Lego Star Wars for the Wii for Christmas and other than being tons of fun, there is one thing that I find very irritating. On levels where there are multiple characters that you can chose from, there are often spots where all the characters need to complete a task together. Sometimes the computer controlled characters will take off and leave you stranded trying to figure out how to cross the cavern of death, sometimes the computer controlled characters will sit there like dumb-asses and refuse to get with the program.
Other than that, very fun. Easy enough for the 6 year old to play. I give it 9 mini thumbs up on a scale of pi to 11.7

I have this on the PC and enjoyed what I played of it. I did however stop playing it after exactly the type of situation you describe, I couldn't get the other guy to cross over some chasm on a moving platform with me. I think I would be much more inclined to play it on a console though, assuming I moved mine up to the living room (hrm, maybe that would be a good New Year's Resolution for me).

We have played through both versions, either on the XBOX or the PSP and have enjoyed them both.
I dont think I have run into the issue of which you speak though. Try doing it multiplayer.
We are going through Indy on the PSP but have not touched Batman yet.
I do want to try the Indy ones. I suspect those will be fantastic. :)
My wife and I are about 75% through Indy, and it is fun.

Harka, we play only multi-player. The gift was really a game for my 6 year old son.
I'm starting to understand the game mechanics a little better now, but there are still times that your partner can kill you by pulling the camera and forcing you off the cliff of doom!

I love lego star wars! ive played all three i have the second one for my DS and i have a bunch of the sets. <----- Star Wars geek!!!
Also, i never encountered that computer cliff of death camera problem because for me the computers never moved my camera, it does when my cousin does co-op with me but not when im on my own
And if someone is being a jerk and tries to run off the screen to pull you into the pit of despair you can run the other way and it usually kicks them and they have to drop back in

I like to believe that my 6 year old is not trying to be a jerk.
But I'll have to keep an eye on him as he gets older, he is his father's son.
