On 12/05/08 Capcom released the RE5 demo to the Japanese market.
Not soon after American gamers began to create Japanese gamer accounts to download the demo.
CAPCOM then realized what was going on and shut down online play in the demo, and cuts off American gamers' ability to download the Japanese version.
Soon after, some enterprising young people who managed to grab the demo uploaded it to bittorrent sites everywhere!
After brief research online into the legality of playing said demo... I downloaded the demo, burnt it to a CD and haven't looked back!
This game is awesome fun! RE5 compatibility was one of my criteria for buying a 360.
The game is very dynamic, and visually very pleasing.
Minor gripes are in the form of not being able to walk and aim at the same time, and not having more melee options when badies close in on you.
Also the inventory system between you and your partner is kind of clunky.
Other than that this game is a lot of fun. It's not as tactical as say Left 4 dead: But I prefer the RE5 games linear progression as oppose the the left 4 dead shitstorm.
Now available wherever you download your torrents.
