It looks like they gave an actual budget to a Star Trek film. Not sure how I feel about the guy playing Kirk and the 90210 vibe doesn't help much, either (tip: people do not tune into Star Trek for sex; it didn't save Enterprise, it won't save the movies) but hey, explosions, space ships and boobies. They've got the geek market covered, at least.

Kirk fucked every vagina or the closest vagina-like orifice of every female alien the Enterprise discovered. So as far as that goes, they are keeping with the original.

It looks like they gave an actual budget to a Star Trek film. actually, i liked the sexy stuff in enterprise

what sucked was the writing until the 3rd season

I'm not saying the sexy stuff is bad, I just don't think it's something you can use to sell a Star Trek film because no one really associates Star Trek with "sexy" unless you are turned on by technobabble. That's not to say they don't try -- Reaver's subtle summation of Kirk's wiles above, 7 of 9 on Voyager, the shower on Enterprise, Q turning the Enterprise into a giant dildo and so on. But hey, if you're looking to broaden the scope of the franchise and hope to draw in more people to the new movie, why not boobies? Couldn't hurt (well, perhaps Klingon boobies could hurt).

I hope the movie turns out well, but I'm fairly certain I won't be seeing it in the theater.

I recall the Klingon women having great boobies. I think it was the sharp constrast between their bumpy foreheads and mounds of silky cleavage.
