The band I went to see last night is playing at Summerfest tomorrow. I imagine some of you Milwaukee folk might be in the area, so keep an eye out for Yonder Mountain, you might enjoy them as much as I do.

Is it really possible for anybody to enjoy Yonder Mountain as much as you?

I was down for Rush on Friday. Good show, got rained on a little prior to the concert itself but overall very fun.

Geddy's vocals were a little messed up (insert joke about Geddy's voice here anyone?) and it was hard to understand the lyrics for the first half of the show. They got it pretty well cleaned up for the second half though.

This was my first year and I fully endorse Summerfest except for the tiny little four and a half dollar beers. I'm going to try to get down there next year again and hopefully have more time to sit and watch the sideshows.

judging by all the tie dyes and dreadlocks at the concert, there were people enjoying them a lot more than I was. =P

yeah but they actually weren't sure what they were enjoying though. They're probably still there "enjoying" the show.

$4.50 bucks is $1.50 cheaper than the beers were two years ago, so I suspect either they got smaller glasses, or realized people won't wait in line 30 minutes for a warm six dollar beer.

Nissan Pavillion here was charging $9 for a regular and $11 for a 20 ounce.

edit: the pavaillion is a place I don't go a lot and is not where we saw the show last night - beers/drinks last night were $5.

I didn't ask the ounce-age, but if I had to wager I'd say they were about 8oz.

I really should open a microbrewery once I stop drinking.

Well if that isn't just the fox guarding the hen house.

No one was guarding the hen house, that's how the foxes ate all 7 of them. =P
