I have to admit the most exciting thing in the lowbie part of the game isn't getting some snazzy new ability or an impressive 2-chain kill or fatality, but rather getting an actual pair of pants instead of an all-too revealing loincloth that looks like half of it was eaten by a crocodile before you picked it up.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Speaking of fashions, here's me, Postal and Circuit on the road in Cimmeria. We've all traded in our loincloths for dresses and skirts.

And before you make fun of my guy's dress (although it is mighty pretty), note that he's looking a little more manly now:

I include this shot partly to show off my mage's gigantic two-handed sword but also because I lurv how mountains in this game look like actual mountains:

Finally, you know this game is going places because it has badgers:

I just now noticed that Amos and Stonegut used the same face. Now it's going to bug me. :bawl:

My herald has this awesome loincloth type thing I save for when she wants to be sexy. When she puts it on, the tops of her legs turn invisible. Tis kinda neat.

You didn't customize your faces? Here's some (cropped obviously) pics I took Sunday morning while you all were being lazy and sleeping:

Taitoo, magnificent (and Sexy) Herald of Xotli

Taitoo has a Demon form! She is hellishly fast when shapeshifted like this:

I was impressed with the way the moonlight sparkled off the running water. This still picture doesn't do it jusice:

I forgot to take a capture of me in my lizard thong, that might be forthcoming. In the interim, feast your eyes on the friendly (non virgin) whore of Tortage:

I did customize Stonegut's face, but you can't really change things dramatically enough to not be able to tell when someone else is using the same one. But Postal's dude has a beard and hair, so that helps.

Yeah and I'm not bald though my guy is losing the hair on the front of his head. :)

i spent about an hour in tortage underhalls with a PoM last night ganking. it was fantastic.

I'm only level 18 but I like the pvp balance so far. The fact that everyone can stealth makes it interesting. The stun/root changes are solid too. People could get away if they had a decent head on their shoulders. Sure we got many of them but eventually they returned in force.

pve still underwhelms but the pvp is where its at

Come to the Cimmeria server Falhawk... come to the dark side....

Hehe, I think I will be changing guilds soon and if you come over will let you know. The FFA PvP is not that bad. There are asshats but you can get away if your being rezzed camped etc... via the ability to change instances. Truthfully I have yet to be corpse camped and not been able to get away from it, and I have only been camped 2 times so far. One was from an enemy guild. I stealthed and watched them waste a good amount of time trying to find me and my guild mate.

But for the most part you have folks who leave you alone especially if you have a wingman. and then there are folks who kill you and move on.

I'm on deathwhisper with some guys I played SB with. I haven't been corpse camped yet at all. It isn't that bad to rez, go to tombstone and immediately hide to get away.

I have the game all shrink wrapped and sitting on my desk for a few days now. I'm moving to Seattle at the end of the month though and will likely be "off the net" for a while, so I'm hesitant to waste my free month unti after I settle in Seattle.

Once I do get it up and running, I'll join you on Cimmeria. I'm the kill you and move on type.
