The other night people mentioned UI Mods. Most of my guys are good but my Dark Templar seems to need one as he has more combos already then room for them. Here is the main one I have seen:

There is talk of others in that forum too.

I'm still afraid of getting used to any mods at this point in the game since it's likely that new patches will continue to come out on a regular and fairly frequent basis. I think I'll just make do for the time being. I already deal with having to re-kajigger the two add-ons I use in WoW every time that game is patched.

I only want a few simple changes. Like more middle bars and get rid or the quest test in the middle of the screen. This one mentions something about removing the quest text. Is curse on of the WoW ones? What I would like to do is have a moment to dissect their code and then just do my own small one.

Curse has WoW mods, yeah.

I'm kind of hoping that Funcom will fix some of the more obvious UI problems (like how they changed group members on the minimap from tiny gray dots to cute little blue peg people). The ones that bug me the most currently are actionbar space and the "let's fill your entire screen with quest text info even if you're in the middle of a fight". They'll also hopefully add support for extra mouse buttons and a sensitivity adjustment for the same.

If none of that happens soon and the patching settles down I'll just demand that Postal make a mod that does all these things.

Also, since this covers UI stuff, someone on Quarter to Three answered my question about numbers showing up on your health/stamina/mana display. To toggle the numbers on or off, just click with the left mouse button -- the one thing I hadn't thought to try. :P

UI Updater:
This tiny application handle the work of putting the new Version number in the custom XML files each time a patch appears.

the negative I have heard on the Mirage mod is that its good until you hit level 40 then some classes gain 2 more attack areas and mirages mod does not account for them yet.
