That Must Read Forum over on Hope Within has me wanting to turn my tail and run very far away from these communists.
I will however reserve judgement for now since so many of you swears these are good guys.

Terial is in charge only till KB and his wife get back. If the point system bothers you, I have a feeling it will be gone as soon as KB is back.
As far as anything else goes... I stand by my cautiously worded statements earlier (http://www.martiancartel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=196).
The only two things I have to add is that KB is looking to possibly merge with 2 other guilds. The ramifications of this are completely unknown to me and come with no warranty, written or implied.
I do not get on as often as I would like, but when I do, I'm finding less and less people of a level near me on when I'm on. Therefore it's getting tougher to find help when I need it without sounding like a whiney Beeatch. Once again, this might only be temporary since the purge and the 60's only lock down.

Yeah, it seems kind of stiff on the surface, but in reality, the group is really cool. What I like is the fact that when I get on at night, west coast time, there is still a nice crowd and it really is not that hard to sucker a few guildies into doing an instance, or some pvp fun like last nite. First time in a battle ground, pretty fun.
The reality I have experienced with the instance runs, is that all the boe's are either sharded and leader rolled because nobody needs em, or somebody needs the piece for a set and everybody is cool about it. I have yet to see a loot war or problem.

In other (related) news... I finally hit 30 this weekend. I need some help at this point. Someone to show me around to some newer areas, and/or power level me a bit. I have a felling that level 30-40 is pretty boring and most of the cooler instances start around level 40.
If you are board and see me on. Let me know.
Also, someone had mentioned earlier that you can change the color of channels. Is that true and what do you have to type? Someone had also mentioned that you could type in something to see who is all on a channel. Game l33tz out there, give me a hand with this will you?

Kermit, I'll be glad to help you out. I have a lvl 32 Druid who could hang out with you. Or I can help you with any of my highbies if you want to power lvl a bit. I'll keep looking for you popping up online.
Foe, I agree with Kirm and Budly that HW's Must Read forum looks a lot scarier than things are in reality. Much of it is simply an effort to get the guild to do more things together and to get our talent builts to complement each other, which is in all our interest since we all hate PUGs and wipes. Another effort is to beef up our numbers so that we can reliably run ZG. That means that we will have to deal with how other people have done loot distribution in the past. There are also clearly some... um... "interesting" :p characters out there who occasionally contribute to some upheaval. But I am with Budly: no squabbling over loot and generally helpful people all around is worth a lot!

It all looks like bullshit politics to me. I get enough of that at work.
