9.1 out of 10 (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/fear/review.html?sid=6135744)

While I'd hardly call Gamespot an unbiased media outlet, the review certain reads like it'll be a good game. Given Quake 4's rather lackluster reviews so far, I may go for this instead.

Did they use the headline "Be afraid, be very afraid"? Because if they did, they should be slapped.

If not, carry on.

Undecided on Fear, myself. I've been feeling a bit blah toward shooters lately. Maybe I'm just getting old and my reflexes suck.

I really liked the FEAR demo, so I'll pick this up eventually. IGN also rated it a 9.something and sounded really positive in their review. I have too many games I want to buy in the next few months. City of Villains is the priority, though, so if I only have enough money for one game, that will be it. I also want: Serious Sam 2, Quake 4, Burnout Revenge, and of course I'll be plopping down big money for an Xbox 360 and a game in about a month. I love this time of year but I hate this time of year.
