As the title says, the CoV NDA has been lifted, so blab all you want.
Here is my screenshot of Carl the Bat illustrating the most disturbing example of the effects of ragdoll physics:

Too late tonight, but I'll try to grab sceenies of my characters so you can see some of the new costume options. :)
I've only actually played outside the tutorial zone for about 15 minutes, total. Despite that, I've had great fun playing with the costume designer. It is, as was the case with CoH, great fun.

Who exactly do you fight? That masturbating dead guy looks more like a villian than you do. So heros fight villians and... villians fight villians? I don't exactly get it.
Ah, he's amsturbating, I get it. I thought his pants had wripped!

Villains fight heroes and other villains. When you start the game, you are breaking out of the Zig (the prison in Brickstown) under the guidance of Arachnos, the bigwig villain organization. To rise up through the ranks, you are often required to thwart the plots of other villains.
Realistically, the game simply wouldn't work if all you did was fight the good guys because the good guys aren't usually doing anything in particular except waiting for bad things to happen. There is a branch of the Freedom Corp called Longbow and they are the primary good guys you fight. The game depicts them as being pretty self-righteous.
The guy in the screenshot is a member of the Family. They "own" a large chunk of Port Oakes.
But hey, I'm a bat. When you're a bat, you don't care who you fight, you just want to get tangled in someone's hair and have a good time.

Villains fight villains in CoH, too. I'm not sure why you're confused, silly Rabbit. Villains fight everyone because they're villains and they all want the upper hand and none of them seem to like each other. You know how the Crips hate the Bloods? CoV is like that except with superpowers and less hip hop.

Do we have Global names in CoV like CoH?
Nice ss btw lol. I hope when I die I'll be able to rub one out before I go.

Villians would have more success if they synergized and leveraged their resources for a global infrastructure. I think their executive leadership needs to touch base with some of the higher-ups and see if they can't work out some mutually-benefitial action objectives. Otherwise syndicated crime is going to flatline, and the stockholders will need to pow-wow over whose heads will roll.

Global names work the same way in CoV. I don't know if people will ultimately end up with one or two if they have both CoH and CoV. My global is the same in both right now, @Creole Ned (:o!)

Have they also expanded the time that the servers are up? I played till midnight last night before getting tired and calling it a night.
and Sorry gents, I played a luittle with the base, Hey, I couildnt help myself, :)
i added a small infirmary and a death trap as well as adding a few items in some rooms. there is still plenty of pts left for spending though.
Also, with the addition of the second server did you gents switch over or stay?

Circuit and I made a couple of masterminds on the new server last night. It looks like the global names aren't linked, though, which would explain why we never saw you.
Our base got reset, so it needed some additions, anyway. Circuit actually quit the SG so he could make his own like some kind of "I'm a big fancy base designer guy".
There are vague promises of expanding the testing hours this week. I'm actually not too eager since all the characters will be getting wiped, anyway.

Fitty is the best base designer ever. I hope I can get some ss before the wipe.

So I will assume I can still find you under the same global names on the new server and if I dont see you on the original server I will check the other.

Yeah, I'm using Creole Ned as the global on both. I only have the one character on the second server, though.
In a somewhat related note, the pre-download for Issue 6: Along Came a Spider went up on the test server today. We'll probably see this week what new and shiny bits carry over to CoH from CoV.
