10 disc disco

I have an account that is active until February, and an interest in checking out the new 20-60 game, but get nauseous at the thought of swapping disks for 30 minutes. Why don't they offer a full client download :(

all I can find is trial client downloads and it looks like you wold have to download the BC trial on top of the WoW trial to get up to date. The instructions also say you'll be entering a trial client keycode and something about the whole things makes me skeptical it will work for my needs.

i believe the beta client works. I know I downloade the client at some point. I've been searching for the torrent link

If you DL the trial client and then just use your account info on the login screen when you launch, it should work fine. But yeah, I'm pretty sure you'll need to do the BC install on top of it still, but it'll be a DL instead of a 4 disc install.

ya know what? I've been jumping through hoops for 20 minutes trying to find and dl the fucking thing all the while I'm looking at my disks. I probably could have had it installed by now.



why will folks spend more time and energy looking for the remote than they will to just change the channel?

I re-installed Diablo 2 a few days ago. While faster drives help (vs. those in 2000), I have to say it was a lot more painful than doing the full WoW/BC install on my new machine just because of all the "insert this disc, now insert that disc, now insert this disc again". Mind, with WoW, there was still a gigantic patch even after the BC install, so it's painful no matter what.

I'd probably burn the install to a DVD in the future.
