The National Novel Writing Month (http://www.nanowrimo.org/) challenges writers to finish a 50,000 word novel during the month of November.
We're already two days in but I'm taking a stab at it. I have no idea what the novel will be about and expect it to be crap but if nothing else, I can write lots and lots of words, so volume shouldn't be a problem.
28 days to go, whee!

What's the title? Might I suggest "A Few Words From Sir Wordington About Words"?

The twist is the minister was a cow, and he was only choice.

It's that time of year again. Who's with me?
I've always found novels or plays or songs about minor characters profoundly interesting and entertaining.
Rosencrantz & Gildenstern, some of A Perfect Circle's songs like Judith and Sleeping Beauty (from the perspective of a prince who failed to awaken Sleeping Beauty), and of course Life of Brian.
Perhaps a novel of that sort?
Damn, I was thinking about shooting for this this year, but I forgot my preparations. I guess 2009. Also, that Rosencrantz & Gildenstern DVD is sitting at home from Netflix - we'll probably watch it this soon this week. :)

Preparation? Write 50,000 words and finish with The End. Done!
Yeah, well, I had intended to solidify a couple of ideas and then decide which one to write about.
