I have no idea what that means, but it's the error message I get when trying to view the file.

Yeah, the film uses a new web protocol called .avi

I think pretty soon everyone will use it.

(hint, if it fails in WMP, try Quicktime)

Nope!!! there is officially an error in the file.

Or at least thats what I'm gonna assume from trying it with Quicktime....thats the message I got on it along with a before mentioned codec problem in WMP.

P.S. I've been using the DiVx player (http://www.divx.com/) and it never gives me any headaches like WMP does.

I hate the Divx player for personal reasons, but I have the newest Divx codec installed and can not open the file in WMP or RealPlayer. I will try Quicktime yet, but are there any other suggestions of where to find a codec that I don't have yet?

I used Defiler Pack for all my codecs http://hellninjacommando.com/defilerpak/

I also use video lan http://www.videolan.org/ or BSPlayer http://www.bsplayer.org/ to play videos
