Issue 11: A Stitch in Time (http://www.cityofheroes.com/game_update11.html) has been announced. It features two long-sought features, Flashback and Weapon Customization as well as a couple of new powersets.
Flashback allows any level 25 or higher character to go back and do (or redo) any badge mission or story arc they have outleveled. To up the challenge, you can earn special badges by setting parameters like time limits, limited lives, no inspirations and so on. There will also be new missions that let you travel through time, hitting key points in the history of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.
Weapon Customization allows any weapon-based set (Thugs mastermind. Assault Rifle blaster/corruptor) etc. to select from a number of different weapon choices. AR players are rejoicing at the chance to replace the Frankengun with a sleek pulse rifle or a Tommy gun lifted off some Mook.
The new powersets are available to brutes, stalkers, scrappers and tanks:
Willpower - a defensive set that should appeal especially to those who would prefer not to look like a disco ball with all of their toggle powers turned on.
Dual blades - a weapon set that features attack combos. Each blade can be customized individually.
There will also be new uber-rare enhancement sets for the phat loot crowd and various QoL fixes, free costume tokens and another free respec tossed in. There have been cryptic (ho ho) references to The 5th Column showing up in some form for the first time since the group was removed from the game way back at the start of Issue 3.
