City of Villains pricing announced

This Yahoo story (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/051006/55715.html?.v=1) has the official™ details of the City of Villains pricing. In short:

• no additional monthly fee; you can play CoH and CoV for the current single $14.99 monthly fee
• people who purchase CoV will get four additional character slots per server

This is about what I expected, so no big surprise here. It does make CoV a no-brainer for me.

I'm really glad they're doing it this way. For a more detailed look at how all of it will work, the FAQ on the CoV website (http://www.cityofvillains.com/faq/faq.html) explains it. It's neat that they're going to merge the interface for both games for the people who have CoH and CoV. The theme even changes based on whether you last played a hero or a villain. It mentions new costume options in the little chart about what you get with CoH, CoV, and CoH and CoV together. It's not clear whether or not the new costume stuff from CoV will also be available for making heroes, but I really hope it works that way. I expect it won't. Either way, CoV should be really cool. *does the Tuatha peepee dance* :yay:
