Valve released "Day of Defeat" yesterday. Like Counter Strike, DoD is a Half-Life mod that got it's own release, and the new version has all the graphical bells and/or whistles, including high dynamic range (HDR) lighting. Much like Medal of Honor, it is class based and set in WWII. There are also, currently, only 4 maps. The gameplay, from everything I've read, indicates it's a conquest-style gameplay, where you have to cap and hold all the flags on the map to win. Plus, some flags require others be held already and some require multiple teammates to cap. But the cap itself is almost instantaneous, so you're not a sitting duck for long.
Anyway, with team-based play, we'd need to have a good number of people interested to even consider adding it to the rotation. At a minimum, I would say 8. Theoretically we could do 6, but 8 would allow 2 pairs to cap together for each team, (or 1 cap team and 2 individuals guarding). If you bought Half-Life 2 silver or gold, you already own DoD and just have to download it via Steam. If you don't, you can buy it for $19.99.
Please post here if you are interested. If you need more info, IGN has posted a review of DoD Source here (http://pc.ign.com/articles/654/654253p1.html). They gave it a 8.4 out of 10, with most of the points coming off for the mediocre voice acting and availability of only 4 maps. Valve has said they are working on a number of maps which will be released "as soon as they are finished" and regular map releases to follow that, so there will be ongoing support.
