Join in game channel Martian

At my suggestion, Pogo created a channel Martian in WoW so that all of us who have now gotten our characters spread across multiple guilds can still talk to each other on one channel.

To join, simply type: /join martian

Please do not tell any non-Martians about this channel.

Anyhow, just /join Martian. The game will automatically join that character everytime you log in, but it is character independent.

One thing you might want to try is changing the color to a blueish tint, as it is easily lost in the crayon box of chat channels.

Lastly, the channel only exists if someone is in it, so if no Martian is on at any given time, the channel takes a nap, only to awaken upon the arrival of some fresh-faced adventurer.

After joining the channel, how do I direct chat into it?

Budly, if it's numbered, you'd type for example:
"/7 Hello Pogo!"

Also, this should work:
/martian Hello, Pogo!

Exactly. Also, if you want to know who is in the channel, type: /chatinfo martian.

The one big limitation we have found is you cannot link items in it.
