why does the paper I use on my bum bum have to either be made of 300 grit carbon paper or generate a dust cloud each time I extract a few squares?

I've often wondered the same thing. I've found one of the cheapie brands that are just right, though.

I used to make toilet paper for a living and I can safely say....
Don't ever make toilet paper for a living.

agreed. I find the industrial sized cheaper rolls you find in office buildings offer the best behind behaviour.

I was in a house a little while ago that had a urinal in the upstairs "Jack and Jill" bathroom. Although once you put a urinal in it, I'm pretty sure that makes it a Jack and Jack bathroom.
I prefer Charmin quilted for main duty (ooo! a double entendre!) and moist wipes for the nitty gritty.

We've rolled across the border into Too Much Information Land.
Speaking of across the border, ethnic food usually requires 2 moist wipes.
Ned, I recommend deleting this thread.

Rolled over the boarder? I'd say we've trampled over, declared war on, and properly invaded Too Much Information Land.
I don't make TP anymore (thank God) but I have tons of family members that fix the machines and work at tissue mills in NE Wisconsin. I highly encourage all of you use a ton of it. Keep us gainfully employed up here.

I do enjoy using a bidet :o
I spent something like 9 years with a bidet in every bathroom. It is wierd NOT having one =P

You must all be gay (except Jolissa). To my knowledge, guys don't really know what TP is. They also do not require fancy porcelaine bowls. Car weels, trees, dimly illuminated house entrances or pretty much anything else that is large enough to not require you to have good aim serves the purpose. So what are you all talking about bidets and TP like you actually know what it is?

We had a bidet in our hotel in Venice. I have never felt cleaner.
