that yellow in his fur is just from the low pic quality.. he's actually a very vibrant white.

The kid upstairs got a guinea pig a few weeks ago (after both the cat and dog died this summer - oy vey). I'll have to check it out just to hear that insanely weird sound they make.

Trevor is a Himalayan Cavy, AKA Guinea Pig.
He was born 8/8 and is 13oz.
His colorings are like a Siamese cat. The black color on his nose will grow as he gets older.
His ear is not laying flat in that photo because he was used to snuggling up to his mother. It will flatten soon.
He does not replace Devon, but he helps to fill the hole in our hearts.

Congratulations! & for some reason, the name Trevor just 'fits'! I'm happy for y'all & your new addition!

Yeah Arm i'm going to have to agree with tick-- Trevor's freaking me out!! Kinda reminds me of a bat-- did you think of calling him Bruce or Wayne at anypoint? :eek: :eek:

turns out Trevor has a touch of houdini and monkey in him. He has taken to CLIMBING the bars of his cage (and has fallen a few times) rather than using his ramps.

He has also figured out how to open the top of his cage! :eek:

so now his cage is held down and the door has to be kept shut.... he's definitely starting to show more personality (but Lisa can tell you ALOT more about this than I can)
