in order of importance:

no money

got bored

tired of luci stealing my loot

just can't afford 14.99 a month when "playing" involves logging in, trying to get an instance run going for 20 minutes, and then staying in ventrilo while i go read a book

plus you're all big meanies

i'll be back, i presume

Speaking of no money, when are you starting school?

when i can get my shit together and throw a bitch fit at the college i've been trying to go to

they've been dragging their feet, not returning my calls, etc

i've been just as half-assed about it

the ankle sprain really put a hurt on me, and not the physical kind. so i went from being prepared to not having a dime, because my health insurance sucks

this isn't a bitch thread though. this sucks, but i've been in worse spots. :D

i'll be around in WoW until the 7th or so

i still like the game, i just wish i could justify the cash right now

I sympathize, Patton. Mine expires on the 13th. I lost a lot of interest when there weren't enough people to get a group, or there already was a group and I wasn't in it. I loved WoW, but BC wasn't as expansive as I'd hoped for, and after a month, the shiny candy coating really wore off. My hope was to hit 70 before I got out, but that probably wont happen.

I'll keep tabs on you guys that still play and see if any of the patches or new content will entice me to return, but the real deciding factor will be if a bunch of people decide to play regularly again.

When we had 20+ people on at once, I was excited by the prospect of only having to pug 5 or so people for a 25 man. The most I've seen on in the last week has been 8, including myself.

What he said.

Dunno what it's been lately. I haven't seen more than 4 or 5 people on at once. Admittedly, I don't play nearly as much as I used to, but you'd think I'd at least be able to get a run going.

Oh well. I'll join in on the smackdowns and such. We should try to get some other games going when the smackdowns aren't happening. DoW, C&C3, Raven Shield, etc etc.

I'm going to steal the shit out of your shit while you're away.

Oh and you'll be back when they add new pet abilities in a patch or two. So see you then :)

I just got Brokeback Mountain referenced.

And I didn't even see the movie!

I'm gonna harp on it again because I think it's stupid, but why not use this fancy forum software to try to organize things? Logging into the game and seeing who happens to be online at the same time may work sometimes, but it's not really the best method. I just can't understand why this group is so resistent to that, though.

I also think it's funny that a group of us are leaving because they can't find people to group with. :) I'm just bitter, though, because once again I'm really enjoying myself with the game only to see people I like to play with start leaving again. You fuckers are going to make me start PvPing again, aren't you?

I still play.

I've had computer problems since Monday night (I'm on my laptop now). As soon as I can get the desktop functioning again, I'll be back on.

Yeah, I know Budly. But you always have some rotten thing to say about me and it hurts deep inside. :bawl:

Since my mage is almost 70, I am working on my paladin now. Huzzah!

I skipped the Lost posts cause I am waiting for season 3 to come out on DVD ;)

Regarding WoW, as I've said, I still want to see the instances. I will be playing my warlock (and drinking). *shrug* I'm just not on every night, but set up a time and date etc and I will attempt to attend....

I've just had a busy week, plus I've started taking an MMA class so several nights a week I'm not around and/or too tired to play.

What Styles are you studying?
are you focusing on ground tactics? Striking? all of the above? hehe

Fool

all of the above. It's a general all-around class. I'm mostly interested in striking but this class is conveniently right after work and a more strike-focused class would require me driving back out 35 minutes 2 hours after work which would just suck. I know most fights end up on the ground but grabbing sweaty man meat just ain't my thing.
