View Full Version : RIP: Snafu January 2002-September 2005

I had to make the decision to euthanize my dog earlier this evening. Apparently, sometime today, he somehow took enough of a shock to his body to dislodge a piece of cartilege and it made its way into his spinal cord.

This is by far and away, the worst day of my life. He was my first dog and I had to ultimately decide that I would rather he not live than have to suffer for years and years, if he even would have been able to live as he was.

Pogo,

I have always preferred dogs to people, so your loss crushes me as well. I had to make a similar decision when my dog Lobo was diagnosed with cancer. he was only seven and I miss him still.

I'm really sorry for your loss.

Man Pogo, there are few things tougher than saying good bye to a loved one be it animal or human. In some cases the pet ones are tougher.

I feel for you man. And from My Family and pets to yours we send our condolences.

pogo, I am so sorry you had to make that decision. It's not easy, Lisa and I know that, but i'm sure you did make the RIGHT decision. Our hearts go out to you and yours, pogo.

I cried for two weeks when my bird Archie died, and he was only a little parakeet. I can;t even imagine how hard it must be to lose a dog. So sorry, Pogo. :(
