Smackdown 167: Not on the tractor!
Date: Sunday, February 18th
Time: 7 p.m. PDT, 9 p.m. Central, 10 p.m. EDT
Game: UT2004
Gametype: Elimination Tournament Edition
Mutator: BonusCombos
Map: DM-CBP2-KillbillyBarn
Let's give this a shot at making it an official-type Smackdown. A couple things to note: The map is part of the Community Bonus Pack so you will need to have that installed. EliminationTE will automatically download from the server if you don't have it installed. I will edit in a download link later so you can play around with it ahead of time if'n you like.
For those unaware, ElimTE works like this:
There is a point total. The first person to reach that total wins (we use the rule of thumb of 10x the number of players, so 5 players = 50 points, etc.) The game is divided into rounds, with a limited number of lives per round (default is 3). You get points two ways: by the old-fashioned method of killin' dudes and also by being one of the top three finishers in a round. The points earned per round will be:
1st place: 8 points
2nd place: 6 points
3rd place: 4 points
Bottom line is survivng is important, killin' is important and of course, style is very very important!
Hope to see youse there.
