Anyone plan on getting this for PC? It apparently has 4 player online co-op and lets you choose from several of the X-Men or the Brotherhood of Mutants characters. The PC and PSP versions are getting extra exclusive characters, but Activision hasn't said who those will be. I never played the first one because it's not the type of game I'd want to play on a console and it never came out for PC, but it got good reviews. This one looks really good and I'm always a sucker for superhero stuff.

I played the Xbox version of the first iteration and it was okay. The controls were kinda muddy but playable. I guess when I play a console game with fighting moves I expect a higher level of precision.

I'd also rented Mercenaries that same day so I didn't play as much of X-men as I might have.

I'd be intrigued to play this, but it would be lower on my list of games I'd like to buy. Namely below:

F.E.A.R.
Dungeon Siege 2
Battlefield 2

However, should someone try it, like it, review it, and be convincing, I'd look for it on sale.

I will partake of the demo (assuming there is one) and make my decision then. Activision has produced a few really bad PC ports so I'd need a little hands-on first. I never played the first game so I've no idea what it was like.

Well, they're developing this game at the same time as the console versions, so it's not really a port. They've also apparently focused a lot on the multiplayer and co-op aspects of the game, so it looks to be pretty fun. Also, you can supposedly blow up almost everything in the environments, which is always a plus.

If they bring it to the PC, I shall buy it, demo or not. I might curse my choice, but its the X-Men, dammit!

I'm sure I will check it out. At least the demo.

Silly Postal, you don't play video games. :spank:

And all Tai does is buy them and not play them. That still leaves us at three. ;)

 I actually don't have any uninstalled/unplayed games at the moment unless you count Civ3, and that will change tomorrow :)

Now rarely played is another story entirely. We won our BF2 match tonight though, so all is good :)

I saw this game in the stores today, so it's out and all that. A quick search o' the Internet makes it seem there is no demo to be had. Anyone want to be a guinea pig before I commit to a purchase? :)

if that was a reference to me reviving my game reviews.. the answer is no...

course for some reason mentions of guinea pigs around always seem to come back to me or lisa.
