To keep the spam down, I am stealing Patton's post and making it larger.

Only post what you need here. One post per person, additional get deleted, as do non-need posts. If things change, update your post through editing.

You might find things easier if you split the lists into Need, Most Need, Whenever, or what not.

And...GO.

Need
Pattern: Cobrascale Hood
Pattern: Windslayer Wraps
Primal Earth, Fire, Shadow, Life

To skill up alchemy, and to make the Super Mana Potions, I need netherbloom, which I have yet to see (tho I have yet to go anywhere in nagrand and have not explored much of Terokar).

For other popular alchemy recipies, I am currently low on and could use Dreaming Glory, Ancient Lichen, and Terocone. I have maxed out Herbalism, so collecting them on my own is not something that can help my skill (tho I'll obviously harvest it whenever I have the opportunity). If anyone out there is doing herbalism without alchemy, I'd appreciate the above. Those who've done instances with me know I toss potions around like mages give out water, especially if we have trouble with boss fights.

For cooking, I can currently skill up with Furious Crawdads and Warped Flesh. I'll also gladly take Ravager Meat, Chunk's O'Bassilisk, and Strange Spores. I can also cook Buzzard Meat and Jaggal Clam Meat, but I usually give that food out. I will also gladly cook and return any meat that people get if they don't have cooking. I can produce:

Blackened Bassilisk: +23 spell damage/healing and +20 Spirit for 30 min
Clam Bars and Buzzard Bites: +20 Stam/Spirit for 30 minutes
Ravager Dogs: +40 Attack Power and +20 Spirit for 30 minutes
Sporeling Snacks: +20 Stam/Spirit for a pet for half an hour.
Warp Burger: +20 Agil/Spirit for half an hour.
Spicy Crawdad: +30 Stam/+20 Spirit for half an hour.

of these, only Clam Bars require more than just the one piece of meat/spores (Clam Bars are 2 Jaggal Clam meat plus a spice, which trade vendors sell).

Also, if anyone who is not working on cooking comes across any recipies 300 or up not on this list, please send them to me C.o.D.

Gundar's Jewelcrafting has really stalled out. To continue, I need thorium, blue sapphires, and azerothian diamonds, and huge emeralds.

Quaron can always use junk greens to help continue Enchanting. He can now make Superior Mana Oil (http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=22521&locale=enUS;source=live) but that requires Netherbloom and I don't have an herbalist.

Need
Primal Fire
Sargeras

Also, for those of you who need Motes of Mana, Life, and Shadow, I've made the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor. I can extract motes from the following locations:

Zangarmarsh: Mote of Life
Shadowmoon Valley: Mote of Shadow
Netherstorm: Mote of Mana

Marks of Sargeras (if you're Scryer)

Primal Fire/Motes of Fire are the biggest need I have so far. Most of the Spellcloth tailoring line requires 10 primals per skill point. Ugh.

Apparently to make the remaining two pieces of my Spellfire set I will need 50 Primal Fires. Yes, fifty. Best drop rate for Motes of Fire is roughly 30% (thankfully they sometimes drop in sets of 2). It will obviously be a royal pain in the ass to farm these all by my onesies.

If you have any extra motes of fire or primal fire that you'd like to sell or donate to me I'd appreciate it. They go for about 20g on average on the AH so if you need the cash I'm willing to pay up at AH prices because I realize they're pretty valuable.

Needs:

Agramir: Motes/Primal life/fire/air, blood garnets, flame spessarite, azure moonstone. Also tender wolf meat so I can get my cooking to 300. Also firewing signets.

Those are all items I can transmute into higher level gems for the gemcrafters in the guild :) There's some REALLY awesome high level gems that can be made from stuff I can create, especially Skyfire Diamonds, which all of the ingredients I just listed are components of.

Gordo: Lower level metals. Have plenty of tin/copper, but need iron/silver/gold/steel/mithril. Also engineering stuff, fused wiring is good :) I'd also appreciate any medium/heavy leather you guys could hook me up with, since my leatherworker is only level 25, and it's hard enough to split my time between two characters let alone three :\ Gordo needs the leather for engineering.

Pokeypokey: Rugged leather, ironweb spider silk and runecloth to push my tailoring to 300 (currently at 296).

Edit: Scratch this. Thanks to those who sent runecloth, but I just couldn't see trying to continue tailoring past 300 and have gone to all gathering professions with Pokeypokey.

needs change quickly in this game - update your fucking posts to reflect as much!

and do away with the story of why you need it. Most people know what others have for professions. If they don't know your professions they probably don't like you and aren't going to send you shit anyways. They sure as hell aren't going to read a book from you. Cut to the God damned chase! What do you need and on what char.

I was going to post that I need Primal Fire, but it appears that so does everyone else. :\ I do need as many motes of mana as people can find, if they're not using them. Patton, how exactly does your extractor thingy work?

Patton
02-21-2007, 09:26 AM
i walk into a cloud of gas and right click on the extracotr, and it gives me motes

in theory

i haven't actually tested it yet

i'm a goblin engineer, so it may just explode and kill me, you, and anyone within 2 miles

i think i need to make some goggles to see the netherstorm clouds though

Motes of mana are pretty easy to obtain. Just kill the Mageslayers and Mana beasts in the ghost town of Netherstorm.

Go to Skald and kill the Imps. The Elementals drop em too, but the imps were dropping for me like crazy.

I was only getting motes of shadow off them.

bump

still need any low level mining shit (copper/tin etc) although I'm now focusing on levelling all of those skills before I level up anymore

Also will need eternium (which I'm working towards mining) and primals of might. Where do the might ones come from? Are they just a combination of the elemental primals?

Hello all you martians!

I didn't pay much attention to how old these posts are, but if anybody still needs thorium for anything let me know. I have a ton.

I was also wondering if any of you would like to trade primals -- I need 7 Primal Water and could give you Primal Fire, Primal Shadow or Primal Earth in return.

How does this Primal extractor work that Patton mentioned?

Gern could use all the thorium you want to throw at him :)

FoeKilla

Pukahka and Myex both could devour any and all thorium made available to them. I'd prefer Pukahka get first dibs over Myex - everyone's a blacksmith, but the martians need a jewelcrafter!
