one of my closest friends has picked up an interesting company that he is representing (he's a PR rep)

in any case... have any of you tried a program called Xfire? know user opinion from the web?

Xfire seems to be growing in popularity although I've only used it a little. It is apparently popular with the BF2 crowd, since that game currently has no buddy list functionality. If you search the QB forum, you might find an old thread about it.

We used it at gaming assylum and I found it to be almost worthless because hardly anybody else was using it. If you have a dedicated group to use it, it might have its place, otherwise meh.
