This year's Halloween event begins on Wednesday, October 18th and runs through till November 1st. Changes from 2004's event include a new enemy group (Unseelies) plus the chance to earn a bonus costume slot by gathering four different Halloween costumes (salvage) and turning them into a member of the Ravenwing Cabal in Croatoa or Nerva Archipelago. Official blurb here (http://www.cityofheroes.com/community/event_halloween2006.html).

I predict that I will have acquired one million Statesman masks before the event is over.

On the hero side of things, Tiny Iota and Lime Interloper don their Halloween costumes for maximum trick or treating fun.
Rumors of citizens fleeing in terror at the sight of Tiny are completely true.

Aw, how can you not love that smile??
If he had his big red nose on he'd be less scarey. Or maybe more. I guess that depends on how one feels about clowns, huh? What is it with the whole "clowns are scarey" concept anyway?

Because they're creepy and unnatural. Especially the ones with the sad makeup.

Q, you must help us find the elusive Statesman masks. We have 10 jillion of everything else.

Okay, I don't understand this.
Q is obviously posting to the forum and even to the specific CoH forum and yet appears to be deliberately avoiding posting to this thread after *he* was the one who said he would be interested in checking out the Halloween event before his account lapses.
I don't get it.
Q, if you don't want to do it, just say so. I won't care one way or the other. But not getting any kind of response when it would take a few seconds to say something is starting to bug me.
It's not that I don't want to do it. It's just that I don't have a heck of a lot of spare time to play games right now and CoH/CoV is not high on my priority list when I do get some time to play.
I didn't reply to the thread because about the only thing I could say was "hey, maybe if I get some time and I happen to be in the mood for CoV/CoH I'll log on" and that's not particularly informative.

It's more informative than silence. :)
