I haven't bought it yet, but I would be. I played it at my buddy's house this past weekend. That game is awesome.

I suspect there will be a surge in popularity for this game when "Flags of Our Fathers" opens in theaters. Kind of like the way Medal of Honor rode the "Saving Private Ryan" coattails.

but the single player campaign is just brilliant!

Yeah but MoH was an excellent game. I don't think it needed coattails to ride on.

The multiplayer on CoH is fun when you're playing with people you know who aren't fuckfaces, but I've found that this is true with ALL RTS games. If you play online with people you don't know, they play to win and use the most boring cheap tactics possible, and it isn't fun unless you do the same damn thing.

But when I played with my friends, it was a blast. We had infantry battles going on, artillery strikes, the whole spiel. Not just tank rushes.

The german 88 freaking RULES by the way.
