View Full Version : Happy thoughts!
Pretty sure none of us bastards are in New Orleans, but I heard about twisters being spawned by Katrina (I'm not the only one who thinks that's an awful name for a massive natural disaster, am I?) in the Atlanta area, and I know Dg and Jenn are somewhere around there, so I figure I'll send out some happy thoughts, and hope everyone made it through okay. And the same to anyone who has friends/family in the area.

Dg and Jenn are in LaGrange, GA which is apparently close enough to the Alabama line to make going out of state for dinner a possibility. Hopefully one of them will post soon and let us know how they are. I saw there were tornados in Macon, which is well east of them.

We got some good rain and wind but that was about it. I think some leaves fell off their trees too. It was pretty boring actually. Nothing exciting at all.
I'm still waiting to hear from a friend in Baton Rouge. Looks like hes been without power since early yesterday.

I'm all about big storms. I'm most of you are too. I'll sit in the garage with a beer and watch a thunderstorm roll by. Its just too bad that some of those storms do so much damage and impact life in such a negative way.
